Wow, my pug is barky mc barkface and drives me crazy practically screaming at me when I come home or he wants fed. My Husband used this twice and Mr mc barkface hasn’t screamed at me since. I left and came back twice without any barking. Amazing !! Thank you for a great functional product!

Well Built; Tested on two different dogs

I figured I'd pick this up as I'm frequently out walking my dog down residential roads and I've been approached by an off-leash aggressive dog once (thank goodness I didn't have my pup with me at the time). This is a high quality piece of machinery. It feels very well built in the hand, and the slide switches on both sides feel sturdy and like they won't loosen over time. The flashlight feature is surprisingly bright and could be used during the night to pick up after your dog or to waive someone down for assistance.

This device has a normal "beep" feature, as well as a subsonic feature that allows you to get the dog's attention. I tried it once with my dog around, and I was nervous because I didn't want to scare or permanently affect his hearing. But he acted more confused, intrigued, then tucked his tail and went into the other room. I also used this about 6 feet from a Great Dane and she also stared at it, then tucked her tail and walked away into the far corner of the room. In both cases, it wasn't an immediate sprint to get away, but the dogs clearly didn't enjoy the effect of the tool being used around them and wanted to get away from it.

I think this would be useful as a deterrent tool for dog barking, and also for safety at night or during the day. The jury is still out on whether it would stop an aggressive or charging dog. I carry pepper spray and other enhanced precautions for those types of scenarios. But this device does have the functionality that it claims and it's a good design as well.

IT WORKS!

This works great! My dog used to scream and I mean scream in the morning and at night. Thus has totally stopped with the use of this training tool!
